Casa dos Condes is a labyrinth of courtyards, rooms and living rooms that transport us back in time and remind us of the blissful childhood years of venturing into a place filled with magic and secrets. Filled with antiques passed down generations, Casa dos Condes feel sometimes more like a special museum than just a villa. Once inhabited by the Earls of Valenças and the Earls of Nova Goa in the beginning of century XIX, Casa dos Condes is located in Cano. Seemingly untouched by time, this charming village is situated in the heart of Portugal’s understated countryside in Alentejo. This region is known for its sun-sapped landscape of dry earth and olive trees, filled with medieval hilltop villages.

For all the wine enthusiasts out there, we're also very near to Adega do Mouchão, one of Alentenjo’s best wineries, and also purveyors of great honey and olive oil.
