Once a summer home to noble and bourgeois families, Quinta Velha has held onto its unique history by staying true to as much of the original architectural structure while also adding modern comforts on its latest renovation in 2015 and now in 2019. Today it's a unique Boutique Hotel.

With 6 en-suite bedrooms that sleep either 2, 3 or 4 pax each, each room is adorned with antique Portuguese style furniture and sleek contemporary lines. Breakfast is prepared every morning and guests can enjoy the several living rooms to relax and unwind at the end of a long day! A wonderful home-made dinner can be served everyday upon request. Guests can also choose to explore the surroundings in our electric bikes.

Separated from the main house, and with a stunning view, is our romantic one-bedroom cottage Casa da Burra, ideal for couples. Recently infused with a bit of love, this cozy one-bedroom house is surrounded only by birds and trees, offering full privacy. With a spacious wooden terrace, this house features an ample living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette next to a spacious suite. An ideal choice for those looking to press pause in the hustle and bustle of life and truly enjoy each other's company.

In June 2021 we unveiled our new swimming pool tucked away in the forest but with privileged, unobstructed views all the way to the ocean. This will undoubtedly turn your stay in Sintra even more magical.
